In the name of God amen. I Joseph Barr
of the County of Fairfield and State of Ohio
Being weak in Body but of sound and perfect
mind and memory Considering the Unsertainty
of this Mortal Life and being of sound and
Perfect Memmory blessed be the Almighty God
For the same do make and publish this my
Last Will and Testament in Manner and form
Following Thats to say I besien My Youngest
Son David Barr to be my Sole Executor after my
Desies First I give and bequeth Unto my youngest
Son David Barr All my Joiner And Carpenter
Tools That shall remain At my desece
2) I give and bequeth Unto my youngest son David
Barr Two Hundred Dollars for Keeping me
During my life from the 8th of April AD 1818
till My Desece in Good Holsom Bording Washing
Mending Lodging and Making To be paid
after my disece Also I will and Bequeth unto
My Eldest Son Joseph Barr and My younges Son
David Barr All Bonds and Notes Due and


Comming To me of every nature That has not
been Transferred previous to My Desece to be
Equally Devid Between My Said Son Joseph Barr
and my Son David Barr and all Interest that
may be Comming on Said bonds and Notes to be
Eqully devided between My said son Joseph
Barr and my son David Barr I also will +
give unto My Son in law Martin Lantz five dollars
to be Paid after my Desece I also give and bequeth
Unto my son Joseph Barr David Barr and the
Heirs of Catherine Lantz my Daughter all The
Clothing belonging to Catherin Barr my wife Deseced
Also all of the Clothing Belonging to Myself of every
Nature and House hold Furniture that shall remain
at my decease To Be devided in the Equal parts
and lastley leave it as my last Will and Testament
that should I be any Cheryeable Expence Such as
Requires the ade of phisians or any trouble
to my son David Barr by being Confined to
My Bed any lenth of time previoues to my
Desece I live it as my last Will and Testament
That my son Joseph Barr shall pay the half
of the Expence and also the half of the Expence
of My Burial


I also will and bequeth unto my GrandDaughter
Elizabeth Lantz Ninteen Dallars to be Appropreated
In buying a Milsh Cow and an Iron Kettle
to be paid when she is Married equaly by my son
Joseph Barr and my son David Barr here by
Revokng all and former Wills by me Made
In Witess I have heer unto set my hand and seal
This Fifteenth day of October in the year of our
